She does pause in the interim before they depart, checking in on the bite to his arm and promising all kinds of ways she’ll make sure he heals up well, before he’s shifting into a fyrhund and she scritches behind his ears and lets him be her guard dog to make sure the unicorns behave.
They make it a good distance, stopping by the bone bridges as she considers what exactly to do. Looking between the ranch hands and the unicorns and the fyrhund, she purses her lips and places her hands on her hips. “Maybe we need to lead them one by one? Or.. Attach a couple to the hand’s horses so they feel more confident getting across?” She looks to the hands and her husband to see what they think about the plan.
