"For this particular occasion I believe I was all but bullied into accepting a birthday gift," he admits. "Not that I am complaining at all. It has been more useful than I think even Flora thought it would."
But then Sunjata's tone is slipping towards something that might look like pity if you dim the lights and squint, and Niki shrugs a little stiffly. "We learn to manage, do we not?" No matter what the ailment might be.
