The griffin is there one minute and gone the next as Lyra peruses the tents; when Noah appears at her elbow, she looks up at him with a surprised but friendly smile. She hadn't expected him to seek her out out of all the people in attendance, and it warms her heart; if her cheeks are flushed, she can only imagine that it's from the heat. "Noah!" she says, bright blue eyes crinkling at the edges. "It's good to see you."
A vendor nearby shouts at them to move along if they're not going to make a purchase, and Lyra waves apologetically. "Here, this way -" she suggests, linking a hand into the crook of Noah's arm and tugging gently. "There are some tables over here. It'll still be hot, but at least it's in the shade and away from the fire. Do you want any food or anything?"
