"No," he confirms about his experience horse-riding, gesturing to his knee brace. "I fear I would not have what it takes to get a horse to move, let alone to stop again." Not to mention the uneven ground the Greatwood often springs on travellers; Niki would be even more of an accident waiting to happen than he already is.
Dantalion appears then, a firecracker in a red hat and matching chaps, and the necromancer has been so involved in the conversation that he'd barely noticed him coming. "Ah, hello," he greets, laughing quietly at the prospect of being Asta's imaginary friend. "Alas no," he says. "I have been compared to a ghost previously though. I am sorry to say that is not true either."
