Nina smiled, pleased to find that Amhran seemed truly interested in the First Flame and appreciative of its role in the region. She would indeed be glad to see him again, and to impart upon him more wisdom regarding the Flame and its importance. In the meantime, though, it seemed he was readying to depart, and she was not going to hold him up. "It was nice to meet you as well, Amhran," she said. "I hope to see you soon."

And as the young man departed, Nina sank back into the healing waters of the hot springs. Ember lingered within arm's reach, providing a small amount of warmth to the parts of Nina not covered by the water. And the two of them were content there for a while before packing up to head for home.
