"The rain?" Danta barks out a laugh, both at Asta's suggestion and the playful snap of his teeth, the Maverick shrugging his shoulders a bit. "I can't say it does, honestly. I don't recall a time when it rained up there if I'm honest." Then again, the majority of his time had been spent in the Burrows, so that's hardly a surprise. "Why, does it remind you of the Climb?"
Whatever the butcher's answer might be, Danta will freely admit that he's less and less interested in it by the second, especially when Asta's weight collapses atop him in their den. "Am I?" he purrs, arching his back beneath the other man and tipping his chin up to bare his throat to his lips and teeth. "Good. That means I'm doing my job for the season."
That job being to keep Asta suitably distracted from any of his murderous tendencies - unless Danta feels like murder might be the flavour of the moment, of course.
