The scream rain seemed to move on, leaving them behind for the time being, although Soh was under no illusions that it would be back with a vengeance. If Soh felt a pang of envy, she shoved it down; she was happy for Deimos and his family, truly. But it was true that maybe she wished for just a little of that chaos for herself. Perhaps one day she would be so fortunate.
As for where she was staying, that was easy enough: I'm living in Torchline currently, she said. Although I've been traveling a great deal. Unsure where to put down her roots, and in being untethered, she found herself falling back into old, wandering habits.
