Zavien
I think all things,
in their way,
in their way,
Sol arrives first, ignoring Colt's melancholy mood as easily as an annoying spiderweb. He drops from the misty sky and lands with a hopping chirp next to her on the bench, all trills and wagging tails as he nuzzles her arm for pets. The golden dragon is quite insistent, already rolling onto his back for her to find the spots on his lower belly that might send his leg thumping, his only other interest momentarily drifting to the nearby bread.
Following his companion with an air of exasperation and unending apologies, Zavien winces as he jogs to a stop next to her, recognizing the situation better than his bonded. "I'm so sorry. I hope he didn't interrupt anything. We had some time and decided to come early, but we can come back later if you want, or if today's not a good day..." He lets his rambling voice fade out, knowing it probably isn't helping, and being more than aware that he won't be able to hear her answer if he's talking.
