Danta had fallen asleep as a small wyrm the size of a housecat, but by the time Asta awakens, he's reverted to his natural state - that being a puddle of softly glowing ooze. As the lial's muzzle nudges at him he lets out a keening, raspy little shriek that sounds a lot like a yawn, the wyrm rising up amorphously out of the lava until he can properly take form.
Frog-blinking at the enormous reptile, evidently Danta wants nothing to do with being awake until the sun has risen a little more, and he slorps his way over to Asta's tough hide and ridged spine, hoping to ooze out atop him until the world makes a little more sense. Across the Sea of Dreams the salt flats are already shimmering with ripples of heat, but who knows how long the weather will stay that way.
