Zavien
His fingers slipped under his legs and into the folds of the blankets, trying to remember exactly where he'd put the cards. He'd brought them over here, right? Sure, he'd gotten distracted by the color of Soh's eyes and the angle of her cheeks, but that had been after. He could have sworn the cards were right -
The brush of her fingers brought his attention back to Soh. He didn't need a reminder of how close they were, or of how her touch sent tingles across his skin, but there it was, drawing his full focus onto her with barely any contact. When his gaze landed on her again, the silver of her eyes had darkened a touch, a meaning behind them that Zavien would have to be blind to miss, one that hade his heart skipping a beat.
He paused, hand frozen where it had reached into the crevice of two pillows, green eyes turning shadowed as he considered what it would mean to give in, whether he'd be able to stop something if they started, whether he wanted to. They'd joked and teased and discussed the topic of intimacy, but now that he faced it, Zavien felt the weight of the decision, the step it would be if they crossed that line now when the thoughts were just as loud as the impulses.
Swallowing, he met her gaze as he leaned subconsciously towards her, wanting to clarify what exactly she was implying so he didn't start something that would be hard to stop. "Just a moment?" Just a moment to breathe and appreciation the silence? Just a pause to talk? Just a kiss? What exactly was she suggesting?
