Zavien froze at the light touch of her hand, turning to meet her silver gaze, his eyes darkening at whatever he saw in her face. Did he want to kiss her as badly as she wanted to kiss him? They’d talked and flirted and teased, but now that a moment was upon them, how would he react?
He leaned closer, pausing to clarify what she was asking for, and for a moment, she was sorely tempted to ask for everything. She could remember what it had felt like to have his weight on top of her, his hands all over her, and gods she wanted a repeat performance - but she wanted it when the time was right. There was no rush. They had all the time in the world and, while enticing, this didn’t feel like a moment to force into something it wasn’t.
”Maybe two,” she teased, offering a light smile that faded quickly into something more vulnerable. ”I just… I want to kiss you. If that’s okay with you, I mean.”
