I thought you said forever over and over
Colt's arrow landed, with Liam's in hot pursuit, but the ex-soldier was already moving, trying to stay out of range of the writhing, raging allogator. He arced around the battlefield in a semi-circle, ducking behind a tree at the sound of Colt's shout. Fortunately, the allogator didn't manage to land a hit on any of their party - a blessing, given that it was larger and stronger than most of them.
Spotting Nova in the tree overhead, Liam darted to a tree further away from the young woman, hoping that the allogator would stay away from her. Maybe it was her youth or her playfulness even in the face of danger, but he felt an overwhelming instinct to protect her - regardless of whether that was warranted or not.
Drawing another arrow, he aimed at the allogator and fired, hoping to continue to keep it guessing at where the next attack would come from.
