The allogator lunges for Colt, and although Grimm is all for 'survival of the fittest,' he's not sure it's a good look for him to leave her at the mercy of the creature. The whole reason she asked him to be here was so it wouldn't be as dangerous. He'd hate to see her hurt after taking all the necessary precautions.
His paws land on the allogator's head, his claws finding purchase in the thick bark as he snaps the mouth closed. He lets out another low growl, trying to dig deeper into hide to keep it from escaping while the others put distance between themselves and the dangerous beast. Grimm shoves his weight down, his fangs bared in a vicious snarl to warn the allogator from resisting, even as he knew it wouldn't work.
