"I mean, if that’s the kind of direction you’re looking for," she says, the words coming a little quicker now, trying to find steadier ground, "you know you’re welcome on Torchline’s council anytime." Her thumb brushes absently over Soh’s knuckles as she speaks, like the contact might anchor something back into place. "I know I’ve offered it before, but with everything after Stormbreak I thought maybe you didn’t want that kind of responsibility or I would’ve brought it up again."
Another small laugh, a touch more nervous this time, as she leans forward slightly, still holding onto Soh’s hand. "I mean, there’s a thousand projects in Torchline I could use help with," she continues, her voice soft but insistent in that hopeful, reaching way, "or if you wanted to do something just for you, I’d fully put resources toward your cartography." Her eyes lift to Soh’s, searching again, but gentler now. "We could make you a shop, or something, like, the #1 place people go for maps, or where they can commission you, whatever you want it to be."
