Then, slowly, he shifts his shoulders, releasing one wing to drape it gently over the twins, the feathers settling in a careful arc that extends just enough to brush against Ronin as well. His eyes close fully this time as the quiet settles back in around them, and whatever thoughts remain drift soft and indistinct through the bond as sleep finally begins to claim him.
