It's not Colt's fault. She doesn't know it's not a good season to channel Ronin Taliesin, not under ordinary circumstances but definitely not when he's got two newborns to feel a Really Normal Amount of protective towards. Any other time? A pleasure. Today? Well.
Suffice to say, it could have been an allogator, a black dragon, or Caido themselves; every single one would have received the same treatment when he appears. (Even if Colt hadn't been channelling for assistance in a fight - but luckily she is).
Six orbs of radiant fire blaze around the White Knight like an off-kilter halo, and he appears, barefoot in a pair of blue tartan pajama pants, eyes tired and hair in desperate need of a comb. A glowing crown of stag antlers casts his expression - exhausted and vaguely bemused - into sharp relief, but he unleashes the firebolts at the allogator before giving himself much of a chance to understand the situation.
And whether or not it hits, his response is the same. "Lose my number. My kids were napping. You owe me."
Then he's gone.
Ronin blasts the allogator with six Radiant Firebolts!
