The weight of Ronin’s answer settles easily through the bond, and beneath the water Remi inclines his massive head in quiet agreement before the shift begins to unwind, the enormity of him folding inward, limbs drawing back and dissolving into something far smaller, far more familiar. By the time he breaks the surface again it is only himself that emerges, breath returning in a soft exhale as he reaches for the dock and hauls himself up in one smooth motion, water streaming from his clothes and pooling at his feet. His hand lifts instinctively to his curls, fingers combing through them in an attempt to wring out some of the excess, though it does little more than tame them into damp disarray as he glances over the cleared stretch of dock, the repositioned ships, the neat line of buoys holding firm where they should. A small, satisfied nod follows, approval quiet but unmistakable as his gaze flicks between Kaisel and Ronin.

"Not to cut this short," he says, voice warm but edged with a fatigue he doesn’t bother disguising, the ghost of a smile tugging at his mouth, "but I would quite like to change and get home to our boys." The words carry more longing than complaint, softening him further as he steps in close, his arm slipping easily around Ronin’s waist, his thumb brushing absently against his side. With a brief glance toward Kaisel, he lifts his free hand in an easy wave. "I'm sure we'll see you soon."
