The brush of Danta’s nose against his own is one that’s soft and still amused as he smirks up at the Maverick. “Worried? No. Confident? Yes.” He smirks, he lets a husky laugh escape him as he starts to settle in against the furs and blankets of their bed.
He’s happy to be admired though, settling in more comfortably, his gaze dark and sultry and he looks up at the Maverick. From this angle, the fire glints faintly from the fireplace and reflects off the golden strands that fall into his face. He brushes it back and out of the way before his hands drop and he settles in.
As Danta leans in and kisses him slowly and gently, he focuses on ensuring he doesn’t rush the process — letting the Maverick take the reins for however long he can withstand it (and with a thought on his mind to stick to it, the butcher’s nearly confident he can manage it), even when Danta’s taunt slips from him as the kisses descend down to his scarred chest.
“We shall see.” He purrs, back arching slightly as Danta descends, if only to be a smidge of a brat about it.
