Snorting but refusing to rise to the bait of arguing with a man who gets his kicks out of being a petty fuck, instead Danta all but buries his face into the side of Asta's neck, exposing his nape and allowing every bit of fuss he wants to deliver. "I never do, not unless it's for a reason," he insists, voice muffled and quiet but the amusement still clear in his tone. If he's trying to keep control of himself it's to prolong their combined pleasure, but when Asta goes and whispers his sweet nothings - as he almost always does - Danta rarely stands a chance.
And he's certain the butcher knows it, too.
Groaning contently to feel long fingers feather fire through his hair and down the back of his neck, the Maverick burrows closer against his fiance, his tail flicking idly at the tip. "You're far too good at that," he whispers, already feeling his eyes growing heavy. "You better quit it if you want me awake for the rest of the evening."
