As Erebos explains that Deimos also had life drain, the crafter’s brows pinch together in quiet surprise. Not that he thinks he should be surprised by it, but the fact was that he often kept that particular magic to himself, ashamed of it in a way that he can’t quite explain. He couldn’t heal anyone or help them, nor at the time that he’d been attacked and left scarred had any magic actually healed him, which is why the scar remains, bunching with the movement his lips take as he quietly thinks. “Yeah.” He did understand what Erebos was getting at, at least.
He’s grateful when the conversation shifts toward other magics, though, Glas stepping aside slightly to gesture inside the shop and all the trinkets on display. Much of it is furniture – new tables, side tables, stools, chairs, armoires, desks, and hutch cabinets all take up space within. “I make furniture and other th-things with wood.” He explains, before he thinks about the question Erbeos poses and a soft smile crosses his face and he looks back toward the youth. “I think I’d want earth.”
