He doesn't advance so much as he simply is, slow and methodical in his movements in a way that belies the surprising agility that reveals itself when his cane snaps out (even if it does all the damage of a paper plane to the face). "Perish the thought," he agrees, all low tones and agreeable theatrics. "Well, here is hoping that this training gives you more confidence when playing the floor is lava, also."
So saying, the cane lances out again to try and crack her across the shin this time.
