Zavien
Sol gives a chirp of greeting to the goddess who coalesces from starlight in a radiant display. Zavien dips his head, low and appreciative of the herald's presence, never allowing himself to take for granted the brilliant power and majesty she exudes, not even when she welcomes him every time with a smile that shines brighter than any star.
He can't hide his own indulgent smile or the flutter of his heart, his stomach still managing to flip every time he hears someone else say it out loud. He wonders if that feeling will ever go away, or if it'll only get worse when the baby's born, but right now Safrin's giving him the best of compliments and he places an endearing hand over his heart. "Thank you." Whether he'll be a good father or not is still to be seen, but Zavien knows he'll try his best and love their child no matter what.
Safrin only highlights how in over his head Zavien is as she reminds him that protecting a baby might not even need a sword, and he laughs nervously to think of what all he'll need to learn to keep this little one safe. "You'd know better than me, but I appreciate your support regardless. It'll help me feel better if nothing else." At least he'll have something to focus on as time creeps closer to the arrival of their new addition.
Moving to stand, Zavien dips his head once more. "Thank you, Safrin. I'll see you again soon."
