the first cut was the deepest, but it healed up whole
“I’ll keep that in mind.” Sunjata reassures Niki, shooting him a small but easier smile somehow, lopsided and boyish as he guides him the rest of the way to the house in question. And of course, he’s absolutely intent in watching for Niki’s reaction. The way the necromancer’s mouth falls open, the surprise lingering in the sharp, nearly gaunt panes of his face.
The mumbled thanks has him nodding, letting Niki take a step in to see it first. The space is wide, a relatively open concept vibe for the majority of the home where it mattered, able to fit whatever Niki wanted it to (but also prevent any accidents regarding the sleepwalking adventures, probably). The door closes behind them and Sunjata lingers at the edge of the counter as he lets Niki take it all in. “Sure did.” He says of whether he picked it out for him. He’d made some of the adjustments, too, when Niki had been serious about moving.
But when it comes to whether or not no one else wanted it, Sunjata shakes his head and shoots an easy smile over toward him. “Not this particular one. I think it’s because it backs up against a line of graves and most people are trying to avoid that lately.” But for Niki, Sunjata’s fairly certain that won’t be a problem. And as if to prove it to him, he steps past the necromancer toward the backyard area of the house, with the variety of windows, where there’s a surprisingly large amount of headstones that pop up in the back expanse of the home/workshop combination. "I didn't think you'd mind that too much, though." He could be wrong, of course, but he thinks he knows him well enough to make these judgements.

Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
