"Ah, found you." Danta's voice is pitched low as the butcher snatches him into his embrace, leaving him feeling like a very unbothered prey animal. Shifting just enough to get rid of his horns so he doesn't scratch Asta's face and neck when he burrows closer, the Maverick's arms bully their way around his lover and draw the covers over them a little more tightly, further blocking out the light and, more importantly, any sliver of cold that might try to sneak through.
"I made tea and got breakfast," he mumbles against Asta's throat, smoothing gentle fingers through the tangle of his hair to sweep it back from his neck, his free hand strumming a gentle rhythm down the length of his spine. "For whenever," he adds, because he's not fool enough to truly believe the other man has woken up - or even that he can properly hear him.
So instead of wasting his breath further, Danta settles in Asta's arms and leaves a line of warm kisses along his jaw, letting him drift back off to sleep should he need it.
