No one is a total fool
On his way to retrieve his monthly supply of dream cacti, Grimm is informed by a nervous local that there has been a theft, leaving him with nothing to replenish his own stocks. Although the cactus makes for a great psychedelic that he's more than familiar with, when mixed with other ingredients in small, controlled doses, it can act as a powerful pain medication for those suffering from injuries in the Celestine. Its loss would be felt.

However, as he resigns himself to the disappointment, he runs into a familiar face. Huffing a breath that dismisses any annoyances from their last meeting, Grimm gives Colt a grumbled greeting, explaining in short sentences what he's after - which turns out to align with her own objectives. He doesn't recognize the other woman, but she stands with a sort of rebellion that refuses to let the world push her around, and the way she measures him is anything but friendly. Grimm determines to watch her closely, two predators working in momentary alliance until there comes a time when dominance must be asserted.

He follows them to the plot, his nose raising instinctually to scent the air, even if all he can smell is dry earth and salt. The local hadn't been lying about the theft, the cacti looking awkward with their spikes sliced cleanly off. It's more annoying than anything, an inconvenience Grimm now has to deal with.

The woman in the dark cloak appears to take the lead, seeming to have some sort of experience in doing so. Having already planned to investigate, he doesn't pay her much mind, walking a different direction as his dark eyes shift golden to look for hints of where the culprits may have gone.

Grimm arrives and partially shifts his eyes to look for clues.
