Another team joined the fray, with Flora and Kaisel coming onto the track with a fortune favoring the bold mentality. Deimos waved them on, instructing the timer to start as the pair crossed the initial line.
The only bobble came at the start. Perhaps it was Flora’s nervousness (understandable), because despite coming along at good pace, the newly-forged demigod missed the first ring. However, Kaisel more than made up for the mild blunder with a stylish jump over his fledgling hill; one would think he could have landed some Olympic-level launch.
Once underway though, the couple worked well and in tandem; a mutual and inspiring effort as Flora managed to not only snag at the second ring, but steer the horse, and hasten the ropework enough so that upon Kaisel’s next approach, he soared again, taking the second knoll on like a professional, easily skimming their way into decent times.
