A soft laugh leaves him when Niki responds, because it’s almost as though he’s forgotten that Niki has friends that would likely drop by too – not just him, but his mind flits to Flora and subsequently Kaisel, before realizing he doesn’t really know if Niki has other friends aside from those two and himself – and would he even be considered a friend? He thinks so, but he also knows he shouldn’t just assume.
“Yeah that’s fair. Sorry.” He says with a soft laugh that seems to suggest he’s quite happy to have found a way to Niki’s when he needed to most. So the least he can do is say that he’s fun, hearing the surprised laugh that leaves the necromancer that has his smile bordering on confusion because how could anyone think he isn’t fun. “Seriously? That’s really surprising.” He asks, though he does as Niki asks, drifting toward the door of the other man’s bedroom to step out into the hall and head back toward the plush green couch.
His steps are sure despite the way his mind keeps running in a variety of ways, and only when he’s gotten back to the couch to set the pillow down on and the blanket he drapes over it does he turn back to Niki while the lights play on his scars and tattoos. “I really, really, really appreciate this Niki.” He says a little softer, his accent lingering heavier on the necromancer’s name.
