Laughing and playfully swatting at Asta before he's nuzzling in against him, the Maverick relaxes and glances across to the papers as his fiance queries them, humming something non-commital in response. "Sort of?" he murmurs, gently working his fingers into Asta's hair with one hand while the other reaches for one of the papers. "The bar did a stock take earlier, I was just working out what we were getting low on, and then I started looking at other shit." He shrugs and scrunches his nose. "Boring." But necessary, as they both know.
