He preferred the whiskey for the burn anyway, seeing as he could hardly feel it these days. Not without help from his god. So he watches her curiously instead, trying to figure out the way she’ll react once everything starts mixing together. He doesn’t expect her to actually tell him about the desert, but evidently it’s started to work with the way she starts to explain. “Oh nice. Beat me to the punch with the skyport. I added that after the town.” He admits, snorting and putting out the cigarette before he straightens back up. “What’re you gonna ask them for?” to make it less hostile, that is.
