you're never gonna get it, I'm a hazard to myself
Winking at Erebos in approval of his idea to deter Kiada from reading his letters, Danta tucks his hands comfortably into his pockets (depositing his boxed-up crystal bell there at the same time) and pauses briefly at a stall selling fried shrimp before moving on. "I don't know," he expresses, the second bane of his spelling existence - TION words - evidently causing equal annoyance. "It just seems like a waste of letters to spell it that way."
Talk of fire and portals are more than enough to keep him chipper at least, and he scrunches his nose in response to Erebos's question, as if reluctant to admit that no, he can't. "Only with the bonfire in the Grounds right now," he admits. "Dygra helped to make that possible. I guess if I asked her, though, we could make others..." And that could certainly be interesting.
It's not surprising that the boy considers his magic fun - Danta doesn't know anyone who wouldn't think the same - though water magic isn't nearly as appealing as his own fiery inclinations. "Of course I do," he nevertheless boasts of his own cool magic. "As well as the fire, I can do this."
On the last word, the Maverick promptly disappears from next to Erebos, darting beside a stall selling pastries and breads and waving at him with a flourish.
