As Deimos’ wall of flame begins to move, it’s precisely the thing Asta’s anticipating. A grin blooms on his face, sharp and blossoming as a low laugh escapes him. Conjuring more fire, the Butcher takes a step forward, creating a span of fire that aims to cut off the top of the tower above the Warden as if to create a dome of fire surrounding the hybrid.
He knows given the other man’s strength with the elements it won’t get anywhere, but he pushes himself hard to try and at least hold his own against the other man, even if no fire was spiraling his way. It takes a lot of concentration, evident in the way Asta’s muscles twitch beneath the coat in an almost vibrating manner.
