"Mm, you're telling me," Ronin agrees with a scoff of laughter. "I knew him as a kid, and now he's got one of his own, and with Remi's best friend no less." A best friend who has more than a fair amount of complicated history with his husband, and suffice to say that Ronin happily glazes over all of that whenever his mind tries to catch on it too hard.
Flora picks the subject up right where the Knight's thoughts were going, and the question on his lips warps into a wry smile as she gives her own stance on the matter. "I didn't realise Soh was pregnant," he says. "Give her our congratulations when you see her? And honestly, even if you weren't deciding to wait, I feel like Carlo and Calan might become very effective birth control."
Whether because Flora hears about their shenanigans or because the twins actively and accidentally interrupt any private time she has with Kai, only time will tell. "You think you would, though, one day?"
