The fire is doused and as it drips and sinks into the sand, Sunjata’s gaze zips back to Deimos as he conjures more flame. Calculating himself, too, though perhaps not in the same kind of battlefield that the Warden had been on in the past, Sunjata had his own battles to pull experiences from. Such that when he watches the fire split into four projectiles, each aimed in a different direction, he flashes an amused smile before bending slightly and activating his shield.
It encases Sunjata in a swirling dome of water right before the fire can hit his legs, and each one of them slams into the ball of water with a screeching hiss. He watches from within it, silently relieved to feel the cool water misting around him rather than the sharp burning pain of flame.
