Another sigh leaves him, quieter this time, as he rakes one hand back through his curls and looks toward the stove without really seeing it. "I’m sure she was nearby. I can’t imagine Kai going that far up north without her." Or rather, her letting him go that far without her.
"When I left, the thing looked like it was on its last legs," Remi adds, his gaze returning to Ronin’s. "So hopefully they're able to take care of it quickly."
