I was born for this, I do it for the glory
The impact of the chakram returning to his hand instantly has his fingers curling back around it, body bunching with continued movement as he prepares for another targeted pursuit and dodge, or the next opening to swing his weapon out towards it. Except none come.
The thing had shivered before. Has been shivering, like its shape is grating against itself and outlines are competing with one another to tell its true shape. The way its shadow twists too, not having bitten him after all, makes him wonder if it is as alive as Asta's or just the trick of light from something that both is and isn't what it seems. Then it just, disintegrates on the spot.
Kaisel's mouth pops open. He slows to just a stand for a moment, helplessly gawking. "Did it just?" he asks, glancing over towards Colt who's nearest to him. Part of him still stays alert, unsure if this is another trick, wary that it'll emerge again behind them, although this had seemed different than last time.
Carefully, he creeps closer, eventually reaching where it stood, no attacks launched in the meantime. He crouches down, sifting through the sand with his chakram and hitting the bag of sand. He grabs it, lifting it up with a squint. "Is this all that's left?" It's unusual, he thinks, although Caido has a wide range of usual truth be told. "Man, I wanted to bring it's head back," he sighs, deciding then that it is well and truly defeated. "Would have made a cool wall trophy."
Lamenting his loss of new decor, Kaisel stands back up, swinging his backpack around. "I guess this trophy is better than nothing," he decides, putting the bag inside his backpack. Maybe Remi, with his alchemy background, could take a peek and know more about what is solid enough to hurt them but then turns back into dust when dead. "We should get back to 'town', make sure everyone there is ok, after checking if anyone in that convoy is still alive." He wants to make sure Noe is ok before heading out too.
Kaisel collects the bag of sand!
YOINK

Kaisel
When all that's left is dust, they'll remember us
Wearing a watery blue, faded and stretched-out sparkling hair tie on his left wrist
