There was an inherent difference between training against creatures – especially in times of crisis. And the last time he’d utilized his water magic in a similar way, it had been when they’d gone to take on the banshee. It felt good, at least, to push the limits now and then and as the fire pushes down and he pushes outwards with the water magic, he only finds some relief when the fire begins to falter.
The water begins to drip away, soaking into sand and dune grasses as he stands up and stretches a bit winded now, shooting a lopsided smile over at Deimos as he starts to close the distance. “Haven’t worked out like that in a while, thanks.” He admits with a shake of his head. “Need anything else?”
