Maybe she should ask about the gender or when it's due or any of the other questions that come along with pregnancy, but Nova could already feel exhaustion pulling at her limbs, and if she started asking questions now, it'd be hours.
Stepping back, she spotted the little dragon at her feet, giggling when she crouched to accept the bag. "Thanks!" She didn't have to open it to know what it was, hearing the click of scales when she slipped it into her bag. "These are good for now! I have plenty of snacks in my bag for the trip." Her smile was wide, only slightly drawn at the edges.
Nova gave them both a wave, not waiting to see if they insisted on her staying or accepting more payment. "I'll see you at the Feast!" she called out, spinning on her heels to skip back from whence she came.
