Danta might have questioned what kind of kinks Asta is getting into if his dressing as a lobster chef is something to look forward to, but he doesn't want to ruin the surprise of actually doing it at some point. Not only that, he's understandably distracted by kisses and cobbler, and it's a good thing that the waitress does bring a box for them in the end, otherwise he'd end up taking a nap under the table rather than heading back to Wildering House.
"Is that so?" He grins at Asta's appraisal of the cobbler as he finally rises to his feet. "I can't wait for you to eat it off me later." Pitching his voice low, he leans in to kiss the Butcher's cheek before leaving him to collect the box while he settles their tab.
As they finally head out into the growing darkness, the Maverick walks with his head high and his shoulders relaxed, thinking nothing for once of reaching out to slip his hand into his lover's. "Thank you," he murmurs, not bothering to expand on what for, and turns to lead them home.
