Marcus let out a slow breath, eyes flicking around the training yard instead of remaining fixed on the Warden as he heeded the next piece of advice. There was still water pooled in the churned snow where his previous attacks had melted away, droplets scattered across the ground and soaking into the packed earth. More remained in the barrel behind him. He'd been so focused on what was directly in front of him that he'd forgotten the battlefield itself had become part of his arsenal.
This time, Marcus didn't gather everything together for a singularly located assault. Instead, he extended both hands outward, feeling for each separate pocket of water within his reach. The droplets answered like distant threads tugging against his fingertips. One stream slipped around Deimos' right side, another circled left, while a third skimmed low across the ground behind the Warden. Marcus tried to keep his own feet moving as well, shifting several steps to his left to change the angle entirely.
Only once the water had spread around its target did he strike. With a sharp pull of both arms, the scattered streams converged at once, snapping inward from three directions. Marcus' concentration never wavered, eager to see what he could do with this practice.
