Little Enzo too, he notices, features softening to see the boy who hadn't yet met Mort. Beyond, Mateo, fucking around as expected. "You're so cute I could eat you," he sighs, resigned to the fact he'd have to starve, until seeming to remember she's still very cute. He stands up and falls back into line at her side as she draws near, throwing an arm over her shoulder and leaning in with a grin as he sets a long and obnoxious kiss at the corner of her mouth.
At her explanation of the woods carting them back home in time for dinner, he slides his arm off her, instead curling it around hers, fingers claiming her hand. "Man, we should add something like that to the house." Not that the haunted mansion fully compares with the Greatwood, but sometimes it would be nice to not play dry land Marco Polo just to ask her a question. The bond is already a nice quality of life improvement in that regard, but only when it's in range.
Curiously, he looks over as Enzo pipes up, the woods offering up the house suddenly. "Whoa." His eyes widen a touch. "Maybe not, on second thought. I'd never get out of range of you if it could do that." Ordinarily a fine issue, but a problem if she's on a tickling rampage.
