Iskra
The slow pull of a grin strikes Iskra into something knowing, though the shape takes on a slightly more devious approach as he leans in with hushed tones, as though to pass along a secret to the boy. "Magic is only as good as the mind that wields it," he says with a two-fingered tap to his temple, gaze lingering on the young face before he straightens himself out and acts as if no gravity had passed, nonchalant as can be.
As for his parent-weapons, he nods without the drag of grief, just the simple appreciation of their captured strengths held out for him to take at will. "Yes. Ampere is a lightning axe, and Gaucho is immune to flame." With enough sticks to raise their abominable army and plenty of acorns to make up both eyes and mouths, Iskra dusts off his hands on his pants as they begin their trek to the greenhouse. "Although I would like to work on them both a bit more, so that I can easily produce and recall them." Tattoos perhaps to inlay in his skin. "I'll show you them, sometime."
A twinkle of delight creases all the corner of his face as Erebos begins to filter through all the potentials, Iskra laughing at the images they conjure. "Maybe baby potatoes, I think a normal one would be too heavy and fall off, though perhaps with some proper water magic..." entombed with ice and care, maybe it could work. "In which case, we could do yams or sweet potatoes, too. They're not the same, you know. Would give them different character."
In so planning out the array of features of their guards, they make quick work getting to said green house, and Iskra leaves their sled outside looking like a poorly made bird's nest. "Maybe a flower or two as well, for little accents," he hums as he opens the door for Erebos to step inside, gathering a bag behind him to stroll and do his own plucking, searching to gather the radishes and other variant root vegetables or funny looking possibilities.

Singing under string lights, sipping 'til the sunrise
Living like we only got today
Swearing off the dark times, cursing at the moonlight
Yeah, we might be lost, but we'll find our way
