Carlo leans in towards his brother at almost the exact same time, almost as if the movement were choreographed. "Always," he says, though his expression never changes from quietly defiant, and he glances quickly towards Calan before his gaze returns to fix on Finch. He and his twin are almost constantly thinking the same thing, whether or not it happens to be completely true in this particular moment, and so he's confident that their plans when it comes to The Fingers and the fate of Boaty McBoatFace will be similarly aligned.
As it happens - whether or not he intended it that way - it seems Finch's plans are starting to align with theirs as well. Straightening up and puffing out his chest (as best one can in a lime green rain-slicker anyway), Carlo lets a magnanimous smile - that looks a lot more like Smug Spongebob than anything else - spread across his face. "If it makes you feel better," he says, "we were probably gonna end up down there anyway, even if you hadn't turned up."
