Character of the Season
Frail in body but dangerously quick of mind, Nikandr is the sort of character who proves that curiosity can be just as perilous as any weapon. A necromancer, inventor, and problem-solver with more ambition than self-preservation, Niki approaches the world like a puzzle box begging to be opened, even when what’s inside has teeth. Blunt, dry-witted, fiercely independent, and carrying a history best left partially buried, he has a knack for making even failure feel fascinating. Whether he’s raising the dead, moving across Caido to King's End, or experiencing a hangover for the first time, Nikandr brings a wonderfully strange spark to Caido, and we can’t wait to see what trouble his brilliant mind wanders into next.
Congratulations, Niki!

With a sombre smile, Remi nodded appreciatively. What he valued most about Ronin (other than the fact that he was sure the man would keep his end of the deal), was that he always seemed to know when to ask questions, and when to refrain. It made speaking with him uncannily easy, and as the hunter breezed through a quick preamble of expectations, Remi nodded. "That is the plan." The alchemist agreed.
Tossing his jacket onto the ground, Remi took up an absolutely absurd fighting posture: his legs bent slightly and arms in a ridiculous punching-pose in front of his face. He of course had no idea what he was doing. The only fights he'd been in had been thrust upon him, and the only training he'd done in Northaven had been as a bird. Somehow Remi had managed to avoid learning about fighting all together, and it clearly showed.
"Uhh. Go?" Remi offered with a grin of anticipation as he stared at the oh-so brawny captain, trying desperately to keep thoughts of mauling his pretty face out of his mind.
