The work was simple and visibly productive as they shifted things around to create an environment fit for soldiers, and an excellent combination for maintaining peace. They had a shared goal, a clear chain of command with Deimos directing the efforts, and not even the earlier stings of the wasps could sharpen the bard's tongue when they were making such obvious progress. He assisted the general with a calm and steady hand and outlook, and even the table proved no match for the combined strength and wit in angling it through doors and around corners to its new home. "You're welcome," he said simply, offering Deimos a slight bow of acceptance of the praise and a shadow of a smile. It was almost surprising how good a team they made when they weren't at odds with each other, and that hadn't been the case since the Blight had faded from blood and soul.

A glance out the back showed Sunjata had the targets well in hand, so Jigano grabbed a broom and head back to the other room with a wave. "I'll see what I can get started in here," he offered, figuring he could at least sweep and dust. Broom and Beastmaster sense alike chased the spiders from the corners and sent the smaller pests packing as he compelled a number of them out the door and into the back training ground to find new homes while he attacked the remaining cobwebs and dustbunnies with a will. He was well-used to sweeping out his own Guildhall, and he wielded the broom with deft assurance, soon having the room cleaned enough to begin the more pleasant task of choosing which among the rejected furnishings sitting outside could be cleaned up and returned to the bunkroom.

He found two small tables that would serve as desks and a set of drawers that the future inhabitants could share, along with a chest for belongings. Chairs for the desks needed only a little mending, but the largest items were still missing, and the bard poked his head out of the room to look for Deimos with his question. "What did you have in mind for beds?"
