Freedom never felt so light. A day or two after resigning, Wessex can be seen again in the settlement, walking with a purpose towards where she heard the new Monster Hunters Guildmistress might be found. There’s a sense of calm about her, of wrapping loose ends up and cutting ties where there really had only been loose ones before. The Guild had never needed her, and now that Ronin wasn’t leading it well - it’s nothing personal, in fact, she'd genuinely enjoyed sparring against the vulture - and she does wish the new guild all the best. But it isn’t an organization to which she’s contributed, and mostly vice versa (though she will find a use for the monster spray one day).
Coming up to therandom building that is definitely not the rebuilt MHG door, Wessex knocks and pulls back her hood to reveal her face, then steps back, and waits for the young woman to answer.
