What can only be described as fate plays a hand in the debacle of Loren's healing attempt. As the Launceleyn leans down to help his comrade, it is as though Ludo himself were peeping over Oliver's shoulder, and the magic simply bleeds into the earth around them. Oliver is already moving, though, hurling his projectiles with a bravery that can only be commended. Griffins and dragons try their own luck overhead, to no avail, and Phoebe, too, tries to stop the monster. But luck simply isn't their side. Sunjata, however, being within the creature, is able to do a little damage. Unfortunately, the Mud Monster is easily able to crush around him in return, before taking a great swipe at the icy wall. It thuds against the wall. It pushes. It rages. The wall holds. Loren attempts to heal Oliver but is UNSUCCESSFUL. Sunjata thrashes around to do damage to the monster and HITS. Haai, Oliver, Pim and Phoebe all attempt to attack the monster but MISS. The monster turns on Sunjata and HITS. The monster attacks the ice wall Loren has created but is UNSUCCESSFUL in breaking it down. HP: Monster: 54 Loren: 140 Sunjata: 26 Oliver: 15 Phoebe: 72 The monster is being held at bay by Loren's ice wall - for now.
