Remi watched as Jigano...did nothing. At first anyways. His (her) call of bridge sparked a look of anticipation which was quickly dissolved as only light bled from the staff. The light was welcome and warm looking, but certainly did not aid them in crossing. Following, listening, and observing with rapt attention, the alchemist halted as Jigano indicated that there may be more to the grandiose statues in the hall. Flinching as the doors slammed shut, the alchemist turned 'round suddenly, pale eyes fixed to the unicorn. Pawing and prancing, horn lowered, Remi inhaled a sharp and shaky breath as he stared at the no-longer marbled beast before him. Jigano's words floated into his ears and his startled mind; a riddle? Scrambling his eyes tried to read the inscription written on the chest of the formidable beast: Grey and white? Elderly falling? Wise sleeping and weak dying? "Deepfrost!" Remi cried hastily, his feet moving unsteadily beneath him not used to the weight of the armor upon his body. If his answer was correct, he'd hasten towards Sam. If not, he'd try to fend off the advancing horn with his shield. REMI
