Grinning a bit savagely as his water forced Weaver to close her eyes and his pommel did indeed strike her shoulder, Saiden brought his cutlass back for another attack. However, before he could, the shaft of her weapon smacked him in the side. It had enough force behind it to send him staggering for a few steps, though thankfully he didn't lose his balance.

It sprang into the air between them, and he set it to spin rapidly in a disc in front of him, one he kept trained on her scythe, hoping to foul any strikes from her while he recovered.
