She has always been close to Evie, after all; learning they're sisters makes a certain kind of sense that learning she is family with Sam simply and utterly does not. Amalia fidgets with the letter in her hands, turning it over and playing with a rip in the edge of the paper. "I don't have a lot of friends," she admits. "Or, I didn't- not for a long time.
