In truth, he barely knew Weaver's talents beyond her wicked skill with the scythe, but he wouldn't have been surprised if her own practical skills with hammer and nails surpassed his as well, so he passed on from the first room into the second.

"Looks like it'll be a dirty job, but I'm just the man for it. Just show me where you want the excess dirt piled up and I'll dig in." A wink for their lovely hostess, and once she directed him to a place to deposit the permafrosted soil he began exercising his earth magic to lift chunks of it from the ground and maneuver it to its new home, growing the hole slowly to the size and shape of Hotaru's specifications.
